iTry Studios was born in 2015 when Kyle and Deb decided to retire from public school teaching in State College, Pennsylvania and launch a new venture in Alexandria, Minnesota. In July 2015, they opened the Potomac Bead store. In 2024 they moved locations and rebranded to iTry Studios. In addition to offering all you need to create your own beaded jewelry, they offer an abundance of quality yarns, longarm quilting services, a plethora of classes to stimulate your creative juices and a small retreat center, iTry Inn, on Lake Minnewaska.
